Replacing the Airbags

Our car was in a minor accident and the airbags deployed. Of course, we don't have collision insurance, so I figured I would save some money and DIY replace my own airbags. Sounds pretty simple right? Well, it turns out that it's not. The job required me to disassemble the dashboard, the horn, the bumper, and the seatbelts to replace the airbags and the several other safety components related to the airbags deploying. It was actually really fun and I'm quite proud that I did it. The only trouble I had was getting the bolt off of the steering wheel. I had to borrow a long wrench (for some torque) and a strong man.
